Which parts of an excavator bucket wear out the fastest?
The cutting edge and the teeth on a bucket get the most wear. If a lot of wear is expected in advance, it makes sense to use replaceable blades. Tooth tips are interchangeable anyway. The side blades and the back can wear out, but it is the wear on the back that indicates that the blade or teeth are not being used.
Are reinforced excavator buckets more cost-effective in the long term?
Only if they are used accordingly does it make sense to use reinforced and armored buckets. The service life and wear resistance of MARTIN buckets are already optimally configured for conventional use.
