Quality Statements

At MARTIN, quality issues are always taken into consideration with every business decision taken. We make a constant effort to recognise our weak points, to analyse the reasons for those weaknesses and to eliminate them on a permanent basis.

The customer decides about quality.
We aim for an in-depth understanding of customer expectations and requirements, mutual agreement on the quality of goods or services to be delivered and the satisfaction of every promise we make.

Continuous improvement is a matter of principle.
Our day-to-day decisions are directed at the continuous improvement of product and service quality. For this reason they form the basis for our cooperation with all external and internal customers and suppliers.

We take care of our internal customers.
Every employee is simultaneously supplier for the next stage in the work process and customer for the previous stage. At the end of this long chain is the most important link, namely our external customer.

Quality is a must for everyone.
It is the task of every employee to act in accordance with our quality statements. Managers (department managers, section managers, foremen, etc.) are called upon to act as role models.

Error prevention takes priority over error elimination.
Every error detracts from the overall performance of the company as a whole. Preventing an error means eliminating any consequential costs. Error prevention is therefore given top priority through the systematic application of error prevention methods.

We are stronger as a team – Quality can be learnt.
We empower our employees to drive continuous quality improvement through the appropriate training, teamwork-oriented leadership and by fostering a proactive work ethic.

Quality begins at home.
Every individual is the best person to identify and eliminate his or her own errors and sources of errors. However, the responsibility for quality does not stop with our own jobs. It is only by working with our colleagues as a team that we can deliver the best possible performance on a permanent basis.

Customer and supplier relationships.
We are convinced that we can only create a durable basis for the development of our enterprise by working with our customers and suppliers to achieve continuous quality improvement. Every individual employee has a decisive contribution to make in this endeavour. We always strive for honest, long-term relationships with our customers and suppliers.

Quality and the environment.
We attach particular importance to a clean environment. We therefore aim for an appropriate emphasis on ecological, social and statutory requirements in relation to economic needs. To achieve this we need access to extensive information from public sources.
Together we accept the challenge of taking ownership of our quality statements and making them part of our daily lives!
