We therefore value your trust in us that we (MARTIN) conscientiously work with your data. With this data protection statement you are allowing MARTIN to collect, work and use your personally related data for the purposes named here. This consent can be withdrawn at anytime under office@martin.at.

Collection and use of personal information from our customers
The information that we receive from you helps us to build dealings with you to your advantage. We use this information for our business activity and to yield service performance. We also use the information in order to communicate with you via email, to update our data records, to maintain and take care of your customer account and to copy the contents.

We use your information also to improve our platform status, to avoid misuse of our website, as well as making possible technical, logical or other service tasks.

We collect the following information:

  • Information that you give us: We summarise and save all information that you submit to our website or have given to us in another way.

Does MARTIN pass on the submitted information? We treat your information confidentially. Information about our customers is very important and helps us to optimise our work. At no point is it part of our usual business to sell customer information or to pass it on to a third person.
We give out information that we receive exclusively to a third person only as described in the following:

  • Services: We entrust other businesses and individuals with the completion of task duties from us. Examples are, amongst others, emails and dealing with payments via a credit card business (e.g., Visa, Mastercard, etc.) These services have access to personal information, which is needed in order to fulfil their duties. They must not however, use this information for other reasons. Above all they are obliged to treat this information according to the protection of data statement and the current data protection act. 
  • Protection from MARTIN and the third party: We only pass on customer account and personal data when we are legally obliged to do so or if such a passing on of information is necessary in order to achieve our general terms of trade or other agreements or to protect our rights and those of our customers and the third party. It is clearly expressed that no passing on of data takes place for business use to contradict anything that is written in this protection of data statement.
  • With your consent: In all other cases we will inform you when personal information should be passed on to a third person and allow you to give your consent.
    We always ensure that information is in agreement with this data protection statement and with the data protection acts when any personal information is passed on to a third party (as described above) or information in countries that lie outside of the European economic area.

 How safe is my information?

  • We maintain physical, electronic and process engineering safety measures in collaboration with the collection, saving and disclosing of personal information of our customers. These safety measures mean that we occasionally ask you to prove your identity before we disclose any information.
  • It is important for you to ensure no one can access your computer details, keep your password to yourself. If you share a computer make sure you always log-out after every access.

If the arrangements remain the same the use of all the information that we have about you and your account are subjected to this data protection statement. We assure you that the carrying out of any essential changes on our data protection statement that may lead to a weaker protection of the already existing customer data is always made with the approval of the affected customer.
